"Steep" is being released in theaters soon. The video shows a man skiing alongside an avalanche as if he was being carried along by a big white river. The skiiers fly down an almost completely vertical slope.. it's quite extreme.
Extreme sports have been becoming very popular in the last few years. If this video had come out ten years back it would have only been played on ESPN or other sporting channels.
Sports like soccer, baseball, and football are still played just as much, but more and more kids are getting into other extreme sports. Sports like skateboarding and snowboarding are very popular, also surfing, motocross, bmxing..& so on.
Also attending these events, competitions, hitting the skatepark, the mountain..whata fun social activity!
I like that more kids are getting into these sports, In my opinion, they're more fun ..and more fun to watch.

I am the least coordinated person you will ever meet so I don't play extreme sports but they are fun to watch, even if you can't play them.
I love extreme sports!!! It is definitely something different from the traditional team sports and I guess it's more fun. That's why more and more kids do it, but I hope that team/traditional sports are not going to die someday because of it...
Extreme sports are one of the most exciteing sports to watch because there is so much that can happen to the person. I guess that is why the like to do it so much.
